Whale watching is great way to experience the largest animals on Earth. Just off the north coast of Iceland are regions where whales are plenty. We got invited to take a trip with a company that specialize in whale watching tours.

Speed boating is quite popular in the Reykjavik area. My brother in law owns a small speed boat and often takes it out for a spin and uses the opportunity to catch a few fishes.

Boating in Iceland can get really rough. With the wind blowing hard the ocean gets wild as you can see in this stunning video. Boats that can withstand these forces have to be built to take on these extreme beatings. This is not a tiny boat - and yet it behaves just like a small kayak in rapids

We have never been on a cruise ship before and never to the Caribbean so this is going to be an adventure to remember! Among the thousands of passengers on board the Freedom of the Seas are Webmasters from SBI who organized the cruise on the Caribbean.

Two of the brand new designed Boat2Fish 25 - Seigur 750 are to be delivered to their new owners in Ólafsfjörður. Mike in the red overall will be captain on one boat and I will take the other. This will hopefully present lots of great photo opportunities. Sigurjón the boat builder is holding the line.

Hornstrandir are at the northernmost part of the Westfjords of Iceland. Just south of the Arctic circle it is extremely remote and most of it is completely uninhabited. At the same time the beauty of the area is amazing and leaves nobody that visits untouched.

Óli Gísla sailed to home harbor - 5.5.2007

A brand new boat2fish.com Seigur boat was sailed to its home harbor in Sandgerði.

Óli Gísla GK-112 is a Boat2Fish 43W - Seigur 1300W. Óli Gísla is 43 feet long and extra wide and with covered deck. The boat is specially built for laying out fishing lines with angles. The deck is fully equipped with every machine needed for baiting the line, laying it out and hauling it back in with the fresh fish.

Reykjavík To Seyðisfjörður - Spring 2007

This years first boat trip has been on schedule for some days. Perlen N-5-BR is a brand new Boat2Fish 33 - Seigur 1000 and is going to its future home in Norway. The plan is to put it on the Smyril Line ferry to Norway. Perlen is made in Reykjavík and the ferry sails from Seyðisfjörður - on the far east side of Iceland.

Reykjavík To Seyðisfjörður - Spring 2007 Part 2

Early morning in the beautiful town of Siglufjörður and we have some fog sliding in. We use the opportunity to take a look at the boat building facilities of Siglufjarðar Seigur - SigloSeigur.net - where a brand new Boat2Fish 36 - Seigur 1120 is just about ready. After fueling up we are ready to cruise on.

Porec is a small and friendly town in Croatia by the Adriatic sea. Boats have long since been the primary way of traveling in this part of the world. One way to get there is by this fast moving double keeled ferry to Venice - the Prince of Venice.
